“The Past to the Future” was the motto of Princess Izabela Czartoryski who founded The Czartoryski Museum in 1796. Established during a time of Poland’s collapse, the museum is an undoubted tribute to Poland’s rich heritage throughout the ages.
Housing not only Leonardo Da Vinci’s infamous ‘Lady with an Ermine’, the museum contains a splendid collection of Polish, as well as European, art, handicrafts, armor and memorabilia dating back to 13th century.
